Accessibility Statement for Creative Therapy Space Ltd

At Creative Therapy Space Ltd, we are committed to providing an inclusive, welcoming, and accessible environment—both at our workbench and across our digital presence. Guided by our founder Teresa Crickmar, our sanctuary is designed to celebrate diverse backgrounds, neurodivergence, and unique creative journeys.

  • Digital Accessibility
We aim to ensure our website (www.creativetherapy.space) is accessible to all users, regardless of device, technology, or ability.

  • Measures to Support Digital Accessibility
Structure & Readability: Clear headings, legible typography, and intuitive navigation to support screen readers and neurodivergent visitors.

  • Alternative Text:
Inclusion of descriptive alt text for images to assist text-to-speech technologies.

  • Responsive Design: Layouts designed to adjust smoothly across desktop, tablet, and mobile screens.

  • Physical Workshop & Studio Experience
Our intimate, 6-student creative jewellery courses are run in a grounded, relaxed setting just outside Cambridge, UK

    Inclusivity & Safety
    Zero-Tolerance Sanctuary:

  • We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding discrimination, prejudice, or political extremism. Kindness, respect, and creative integrity are fundamental to our community.

    Neurodiversity & Mindful Pace:

  • Designed with neuroinclusive values at heart, our classes feature step-by-step guidance tailored to your individual pace.

    Mindfulness & Comforts:

  • Optional pre-class mindfulness practices help ease you into a focused, low-stress flow. Complimentary refreshments (teas, coffee, sweet treats) are provided throughout.

    Physical Requirements & Workshop Considerations
Jewellery making involves tactile craftsmanship. To safely participate, students should keep the following physical demands in mind:
    Manual Dexterity:

  • Courses require hands-on manipulation of small objects and hand tools (e.g., piercing saws, files, pliers, and gas torches).

    Environment:

  • The studio is an active craft workshop involving sound, light, heat from torches, and fine physical movement.

    Feedback & Assistance

  • We are continuously striving to improve both our online and physical accessibility. If you experience any difficulty accessing content on our website or have specific accessibility requirements or questions regarding our workshop environment, please reach out to us before booking so we can best support you.
