Our Mission

At Creative Therapy Space, our mission is to offer a warm, inclusive sanctuary where you can slow down, get your hands dirty, and discover the magic of making.

Creativity isn't a rare talent; it’s a fundamental gift. Conventional boundaries have never worked for me, and as a proudly neurodivergent maker with an ADHD brain, I know that learning is a dynamic, lifelong process. My relentless curiosity means my skills are forever expanding alongside yours, creating an energetic space where curiosity always matters more than perfection.

We proudly celebrate the full spectrum of human identity. Whether you are neurospicy, LGBTQIA+ (a cause close to my heart as the parent of a non-binary child), a complete beginner, or a seasoned maker, you are invited to step up to the bench exactly as you are. We hold a strict zero-tolerance policy toward prejudice, preserving a progressive haven built on kindness, authentic connection, and respect.

Here, fire, metal, and sparkle are tools for well-being. Through small class sizes, intuitive guidance, and a dedicated tribe of makers, we build more than just bench skills; we build confidence and belonging. Come forge your story and embrace the beautifully imperfect process.

Joining the Bench

Our creative tribe loves sticking around, but as makers progress, the occasional bench opens up. If a class is full, do join our waiting list, we’d love to welcome you.

About Me

Teresa’s workshop in Lode, Cambridgeshire, is where her worlds of making, teaching and creativity come together.

A jeweller, educator and creative facilitator, Teresa has spent over 25 years working with precious metals, gemstones and the transformative power of making. Through Creative Therapy Space, she shares her skills and knowledge in jewellery and silversmithing, helping people discover their creativity, build confidence and experience the joy of creating something with their own hands.

Teaching has always been at the heart of Teresa’s work. She believes that everyone is creative, that skills can be learned, and that the best workshops are spaces where people feel supported to experiment, make mistakes and surprise themselves.

Teresa is a qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status, a Reiki and Seichem Master, and an experienced jewellery designer maker. She graduated in Jewellery and Silversmithing from Loughborough College of Art & Design in 1998 and has continued to develop her craft, teaching practice, and creative work ever since.

From 2013 to 2017, Teresa was a director of the award-winning social enterprise GAP Learning CIC, creating and delivering practical courses designed to support creativity, confidence and wellbeing for children and adults across Cambridgeshire.

Today, Creative Therapy Space brings together everything Teresa loves: making, teaching, connection and the belief that creativity belongs to everyone.
